What to do
Prep Steps
Once the chicken has marinated and you are ready to start cooking:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Create an assembly line for breading. Start with an egg mixture in a shallow dish (I like to use round cake pans or pie plates) by whisking together 3 eggs, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup hot sauce, 1 tsp garlic powder. In another similar shallow dish, make a breading mix by mixing 2 cups self-rising flour and 3 tbsp Cajun seasoning.
Bread the chicken tenders. Coat each piece of chicken with the flour mixture. Then, dip in and coat with the egg mixture. Finally, coat it in the flour mixture again. As you bread each chicken tender, place the chicken on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes once the oven has preheated to 350 degrees F.
